Denim Fit Comparison Worksheet
Compare a pair that already fits with a pair being considered. Measurements stay in this browser and are not sent to StylingLog. Use the same unit for every field.
How to measure consistently
- Fasten each pair and lay it flat without stretching.
- Measure the same seam points on both garments.
- Record the fabric composition because stretch and rigid denim behave differently.
- Use differences as questions to investigate, not as an automatic size recommendation.
A larger rise changes where the waistband and crotch sit. A wider hip changes ease through the seat. A longer inseam must be evaluated with the intended shoe. A wider hem changes how the leg meets the shoe. Brand labels cannot replace these comparisons.
Important: The worksheet does not predict comfort or guarantee fit. Try the candidate pair while sitting, walking, and using the intended pockets and shoes.
